Fast N’ Loud Star Richard Rawlings Once Again Joins Gumball 3000 Rally

He earns $50,000 with each episode of the reality TV show Fast N’ Loud on Discovery Channel. He also is a proprietor of the Gas Monkey Garage as well as both the Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill and Gas Monkey Live music venues in Dallas, Texas. We haven’t counted his marketing ventures promoting Dodge vehicles yet, but we can tell you this: if Richard Rawlings rallies he’ll drive the best autos on the market.

This year’s Gumball 3000 is just around the corner which means you’ll be reading quite a lot about the contestants these days. Not because we care so much about celebrities, nor are we that eager to find out how rich people party today. No, our real point of interest has something to do with their cars. Like it or not, they get to drive the best of the best, and that’s something that tickles our petrolhead ego.

The 46-year-old TV star is not just a famous guy who enjoys racing; he also is a talented mechanic and a Gumball 3000 veteran. As a matter of fact, Rawlings has won first place twice in Maximillion Cooper’s eccentric 3000-mile competition.

Word is, the Fast N’ Loud presenter will hit the grids from Stockholm to Vegas this year along all the other celebrities, once more. Just like last year, he’ll join Team Betsafe, one of the wealthy sponsors that back famous people like Dolph Lundgren, Jon Olsson and others.

The only thing we’re curious about is whether or not Rawlings is driving that beautiful 2015 Dodge Challenger he was supposed to last year. Back in 2014, he got it all customized and nicely wrapped for the event, but, unfortunately, his lawyers prevented him from taking part in the rally itself. He did bring the beast to the starting grid so Gumball 3000 fans got to see it.

We’re assuming that’s what he’ll drive this year. Since we’ll be there for the European leg, we’ll make sure to let you know.

P.S.: feel free to check out the car in last year's videoif you feel you forgot how it sounds.
