With a 39-point lead over Jorge Lorenzo and exactly 100 point at stake in the remaining 4 rounds of the season, provisional championship leader Marc Marquez says he's ready for the intense action the season's triple header brings in.
As for the hearing the Race Direction has announced for Thursday at Sepang, he states his strong belief that he will not receive a penalty for the Aragon incident. Almost two weeks ago, Marquez collided with his team mate Dani Pedrosa, accidentally severing the rear wheel speed sensor cable.

The incident caused a traction control system failure on Pedrosa's bike and he crash out of the race as the opened the throttle exiting the turn.“If I were in that same situation again, I would go for the safest line possible. Presumably, if I had not cut that traction control cable, nobody would have said anything,” Marquez told MotoGP.com.

Well laddie boy, that's exactly why you're attending the hearing, because bad things DID happen, Luckily Pedrosa was not seriously injured. However, this was a very lousy present for his 28th birthday. If penalized, Marquez could start at Sepang from the back of the grid.

On the happier side, Damian Cudlin was confirmed to ride for PBM in the Sepang and Motegi rounds. Together with the Australian GP, Cudlin is in for 3 consecutive races aboard Paul Bird machinery.

RAC (Racing Against Cancer) BMW Team agreed to release Cudlin from his IDM Superbike Championship contract so he can train with PBM and attend the three races. Phil Borley, Technical Director for PBM thanked RAC Racing BMW for "lending" Cudlin.
