Here's another classic recipe for accidents: a rider splitting lanes quite fast, obviously running directly into a car whose driver changes lanes without checking mirrors. In such cases, avoiding a crash is the exception to the (painful) rule.
However we're not watching a footage of the exception, so everything ends up with a bent Audi A5, a damaged scooter and people flying through the air. We should stress that both rider and pillion were rather lucky to end up on the road, as we've seen similar accidents with terribly gruesome results, courtesy of the guardrail.
The passenger lady seems to have been shaken quite a bit, with the rider seemingly not harmed at all and quick to check if she's ok. Notice that the passenger is wearing a helmet, but the rider isn't, another classic case when it comes to riding, unfortunately. They seem ok, and maybe they've learned that speeding between the lanes is never a good idea.
