Fast Fords at SEMA: Seven Focus and Three Fiesta Models

Ford has a number of house-approved car they want to show to the public at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where we think a new vision of the aftermarket world will be seen.

Why do we say that? Because the focus isn’t on some sort of tuned 2010 Mustang, but on the new Focus and its ST hothatch version, which represents the Blue Oval’s fresh global product offensive. In total, there will be seven different versions of the Focus coming from such companies as 3dCarbon, ROUSH Performance Products, The ID Agency, Capaldi Racing, Steeda, Bojix Design, and COBB Tuning.

"Millennials, which this car is all about, want to personalize every aspect of their lives – everything from laptop covers to body art, and even cars," said Mike Murphy, Ford C-Car Marketing manager. "Being unique allows them to stand apart and be different, and all the Focus models we have on display at SEMA live up to that standard."

The little Fiesta is a relatively new concept for the US, but Ford must still be proud of it, as it’s bringing three such sub-compacts to the SEMA Show floor, built by M2-Motoring, Gold Coast Automotive, and Aaron Vaccar.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
