3T is taking its successful gravel bike, the Exploro Racemax, to the next level, by turning it into an e-bike. The new Exploro Racemax Boost promises great speed for off-road adventures, with the same aerodynamic frame as we're used to.
The new Racemax Boost is built similarly to the standard Exploro, which was meant to revolutionize gravel bike design with its aerodynamic frame. What makes it unique is the Mahle ebikemotion X35 system, an advanced motor that is lightweight enough to be integrated without having to modify the frame’s shapes, but also powerful enough for off-road riding.

According to the brand, they wanted to create a one-of-a-kind model that makes you forget that you are riding an e-bike. The Mahle ebikemotion system provides up to 250 W of power support and it was customized by 3T to enable a smooth transition, which creates a natural pedaling feel. It comes with an Eco power level, a Medio level for climbing and more difficult trails, as well as a Turbo level for rough terrains.

This makes the new Racemax Boost a great choice for those who are still practicing with gravel riding, because they get support from the pedal-assist. Plus, they can gradually intensify their own effort and build up their stamina.

All 3 models in the new 3T e-bike range are powered by a 250 kWh hidden battery, with the option of adding a second one. They are all built based on the “Racemax philosophy”, according to which a gravel bike’s design should begin with the tires and then the frame be aerodynamically engineered around them. This innovative frame concept is what makes Racemax bikes some of the fastest options for riding on gravel roads.

The drop-bar version and the flat-bar version are equipped with Shimano GRC brakes, while the Ultralight version, which weighs less than 22 lb. (10 kg), comes with Sram Red AXS eTap brakes.

Exploro Racemax Boost, in both drop- and flat-bar versions, is priced at $8,450 (€6,999), while the Ultralight goes up to $12,000 (€9,999).
