A while back, before the Paul Walker tragedy happened and before the 6th installment of the Fast and Furious saga was released we wondered what BMWs ever made it in the movie franchise up until then.
As the latest movie from the franchise featured some awesome E60 M5s in action, we simply had to know what other Bimmers were featured in Paul Walker’s movies. The result of our inquiries pointed out that only 3 other models showed up in the franchise, one of them being an orange BMW E39 540i.
As it turns out, one guy, wanting to capitalize on the recent tragic death of Paul Walker, suddenly decided to put it up for sale on eBay. Since the car was used in the movie, during a racing scene, it was modified to look like a racing M5 both in and out. Whilst the exterior color might not be to everyone’s tastes, inside you’ll find a full roll cage and a drifting brake, which should prove interesting to use.
Unfortunately (in case you were interested) the auction already ended but the reserve was not met, the highest bid reaching USD7,350. However, I have a hunch that the car will be resurfacing eBay, pretty soon.
