There’s something special about cars and stars from the ‘good ol’days’, and the combo doesn’t get much better than Charie’s Angel Frrah Fawcett aka “Jill Munroe” and a classic 1976 Mustang II Cobra II. It’s got that lazyboy and the sort cowl lines that make us cry, but it’s still cool!
The car looked like it was in the best shape while featured on the TV show, but that’s not saying a lot about the real life performance of this car. This mid 1970s Mustang was one of the worst they made, and quickly became known for its chassis and lower body rust.
The top of the line 302 cubic inch (4.9-liter) was woefully underpowered. The answer came in 1976 with when the "Cobra II" appearance package was launched with black grille, simulated hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, quarter window louvers, accent stripes and snake emblems.
Yes, it was a stickers and sunroof edition. But Farrah made it cool, and it’s our guilty pleasure.
