He has been creating all sorts of functional vehicles out of pine wood for the last ten years, but his dream was to make something he knows best. The wooden utility vehicle will most likely not going to harvest the crops anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t made the news either way.
Meet Istvan Puskas, a Hungarian farmer from the village of Tiszaors, whose neighbors will always remember. He may be a kind person, maybe even the person to own the richest crops in the entire area, but none of these will make people remember him. No, if there’s a thing the 53-year-old craftsman does best that thing is carving pine wood.
The 150 cc engine is problably the only thing his latest creation has in common with an actual four wheeled vehicle. That and real tractor tires.
Everything else, however, was carefully hand-crafted out of pine wood, an occupation he’s been staying busy with for about a decade now. In fact, according to Barcroft Cars, the 53-year-old man, who is a tractor driver at a nearby agricultural firm, has been using his extreme wood-whittling skills to create several other vehicles.
Naturally, it’s not the first time the Hungarian farmer makes the 5 o`clock news. During the years, he showcased several others creations such as three wooden pushbikes, a wooden motorbike, and even a wooden car. Since Puskas claims he has always been a big fan of machines made out of wood, we’re pretty sure he won’t stop until the Formula One wooden car he talks about will be ready.
