Fan Takes Dangerous Picture of David Beckham while Riding a Scooter in Traffic

David Beckham was promoting his new Haig Club whiskey brand around the world, when a fan in Vietnam took things a bit too far. The former football star posted a picture of the Vietnamese woman on his Facebook account showing her driving a scooter in traffic while taking a picture of the star. Not only did she put herself into a risky position, but it would seem she also had a baby between her legs.

Beckham’s trip to Vietnam is part of his world tour that already visited China and South Korea and through which the model is promoting his new whiskey brand. Haig Club is a new brand created as a joint venture with Simon Fuller and backed by drinks company Diageo.

Everything was right on track and having fans all over the world that want to meet him in person is no more surprise for David Beckham. But sometimes people take things a bit too far and this was definitely the case of this young mother who probably got starstruck by the gentlemen, known to be quite popular among ladies for his looks.

“I’m all for fans taking a picture but not sure this is the safest way to do it!” Beckham wrote next to the picture he posted on Facebook. And we have to admit we totally agree with the fellow, considering it would seem the lady was riding on a scooter in traffic, holding her baby between her legs.

Fans get starstruck quite often

To be honest, it’s not the first time we stumble upon fans getting overwhelmed when they meet their favorite celebrity. It happened to comedian Kevin Hart about a month ago, when a National Car Rental bus driver took quite a detour while at the wheel of a Los Angeles International Airport shuttle.

The lady got starstruck when she saw Hart and, instead of safely parking the car or simply continuing to drive to the destination, she suddenly stopped the vehicle and took a selfie with her favorite comedian. Problem was the gesture got the driver on indefinite suspension without pay.

Struck or no struck, in our particular case it’s rather a matter of safety, considering the Vietnamese woman was riding a scooter and even had a child along, which is why we believe some people should better take the public bus.
