In the search of cheap extra HP and a slight boost over the stock M3s, many E36 drivers searched for all kinds of tips and tricks that might help them overtake their friends or rivals on the track or the street.
On such trick is removing the clutch fan. Yeah, it sound absurd but hear us out. This trick was developed by the PTG race team's engine specialists for all E36 inline 6-cylinder models and is dyno proven.

Furthermore, doing it might bring a couple of extra horses to the stable you already have (between 6 and 8 HP). The whole process takes only about 15 minutes to do but you have to be careful afterwards that your engine keeps running within the right temperature all the time.

That being said, this is what you'll need:

- 2 Bottles of Red Line Water Wetter
- 11 53 1 466 174 80c Thermostat
- 11 53 1 265 084 O-ring
- 11 53 1 740 437 (5/92-up) / 11 53 1 748 047 (up to 5/92) Thermostat Housing Gasket
