Car people have debt, very few friends and weird personalities. Artist make no money, have even fewer friends and are usually covered in cat hair, which makes everything taste better. If you look at it like that, it explains why there are very few people who are into art and cars at the same time, so this article might appeal to nobody at all.
Still, we will take our chances based on the fact that a famous but quit weirdly drawn anime popularized both drifting and a specific Toyota model which we don't need to mention.

We've been sitting on this story for quite some time. A few months ago, an artist who goes by the name TanguriMurmur created two photo galleries, one depicting sixteen car brands as male models and another showing eight female versions. It's bizarre (especially the male ones), almost cringe-worthy in some cases, but never badly drawn.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to track down the artist, who most likely used a pen name just for this project. It's a shame because there are a few popular brands worth doing, like VW or Tesla. Also, for an Asia artist, it's weird that brands like Subaru or Hyundai weren't on his radar. His work did, however, spread like wildfire and like most of the things on the net is criticized and joked about.

For example, people take issue with the fact that both BMW characters lack Bluetooth earpieces and sunglasses. Also, Ram guy seems like he's into BDSM, the Dodge fellow is too classy, and Jeep dude is blushing. However, we think the artist nailed many stereotypes.

Ford is represented as a blonde girl-next-door type, Toyota is a shy bookworm and the supercar chicks look so hot you would mind if they killed you by accident. And whatever you do, don't go anywhere near that MINI or you'll go to jail.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
