Family Fun at the BMW Museum and Welt

A series of family events will be hosted by the BMW Museum and the BMW Welt starting from June 28. BMW decided to schedule the Family Sunday event for the last Sunday of each month, where families benefit from reasonable admission fees, free guided tours and workshops.

At the 5,000 square meter museum, visitors can take a look at the 125 original items which represent the BMW brand’s 90-year history. The admission fee is of only 12 euros per family and includes hourly guided tours.

Educational and creative events are organized especially for children aged five or more and teenagers. The theme for this Sunday’s event is ‘Welcome the artists!’. Two artistes’ coaches, six young artistes and two rhythm accompanists support the performing visitors in testing their percussion skills.

Enthusiasts can also choose one of the workshops, such as training at juggling, trampolining or building human pyramids, opened to the public.

Moreover, at the BMW Welt Junior Campus, children aged 7 to 13 can explore the facilities, as well as joining the ‘Discovering Mobility’ workshop, learning how to turn explosion power into motion and which sources of energy boost today’s and tomorrow’s vehicles. Every successful participant gets a diploma. The package costs 4.5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children.

Speaking of children, they can also go on the Mobility Tour at the reduced price of 5 euros, while their parents can enjoy BMW Tour Kompakt, also for a 5 euros fee. In front of the BMW Welt Auditorium there will also be a Children’s Road Safety School, where children aged 3 to 6 are taught basic traffic rules in a playful way. At a 3 euro price, children will receive their own children’s driving license at the end of the training.
