Falling Meteorite Captured on Dash Cameras in Russia

Right now, the internet is ablaze with comments about alien invasions, government coverups and rumors of secret interceptor planes. Why? Because a meteorite landed in Russia.

The once Soviet nation covers more time zones than any other country and is frequently peppered by small meteorites. It's estimated that the object weighed about 10 tones and entered the atmosphere above the Ural region traveling at speeds of about 50,000 km/h.

Reports are still coming in, but it seems that one piece struck a building in the Chelyabinsk and caused windows to brake, injuring three people.

A small meteor in a secluded area of Eurasia would have gone unnoticed were it not for the millions of dash cams used by Russian drivers. A lot of video footage has emerged on Youtube, showing how frightening the even was for the people who witnessed it first-hand.
