You're a bit shocked, aren't you? Well, I know that applies to me, despite the fact that I've been staring at this Porsche-impersonating Toyota 86 for quite a while now.
This Toyobaru might have been built in Japan, but the custom treatment it received was complete in the said country. And the sportscar apologetically displays the infamous Zuffenhausen livery.
The color scheme we have here traces its roots back to the 917K/20 Pink Pig, a machine that wasn't the most successful of its family tree, but whose special attire earned it an important place in the German carmaker's history.
Heck, the 86 even sports the traditional German meat cuts, as is was the case with the original.
Other aspects that stand out (let's see for how long I can ignore the model resting on the car)? Well, the Toyota features a Pandem kit, one that's pretty aggressive even by contemporary widebody standards.
Then we have the mad camber angle, albeit with this not being insane enough to make this sportscar a member of the #hellaflush camp - unsurprisingly, I'm not a fan of this tuning subculture, so I'm glad that angle isn't even greater.
And while we're talking sacrificing other aspects for the sake of the look, I'll point out what the keen-eyed among you have already noticed, namely the air tank resting in the nose of the car.
Oh well, at least we know the ground clearance is variable, so this thing can move across sleeping policemen.
Frankly, given the that Pink-Pigging is a trend these days (even Porsche has offered such a livery on the Macan), we should've seen this one coming. So you can expect to see more and more machines featuring this livery and while some of them are Porsches, others are not, with this... Ferrari being an example as good as any.
