Fake Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Motorhome Is a Strange RV

Ever since its early days of military service, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class has been focused on providing utility. And now that the G Wagon is a road car with a cult status, it's no surprise that aficionados have found plenty of uses for the Gelandewagen. Let's take the example we have here, which has been given an RV conversion.
This isn't, by any means, the first motor home built around a Gelik, nor is it the most refined. The machine plays the all-white card, which is the norm among this kind of mobile flats.

Despite the newfound purpose of the G-Class, the owner has decided to throw in a G63-like kit for good measure, with this including the headlights, the radiator grille and the fat front arches.

As if this wasn't enough, there are extra LEDs at the bottom of the front apron, as well as a set of rims that screams "look at me, I'm tuner stuff".

Nevertheless, the original spare wheel, which now sits at the back on the contraption, is a nice touch.

As far as the practical side of the Merc goes, the space seems to have been exploited reasonably well, as, for instance, we have what appears to be a sleeping area above the front section of the vehicle.

Despite the said visual issues, we have to admit that being able to go anywhere with your RV is a tempting proposition. Of course, one needs to know that the overall structure of the vehicle can whitstand the various forces that come into play during offroading. So while the chassis and the recirculating ball steering of the G-Class are certainly sturdy, here's to hoping the homework for building this machine has been covered.

Now, in case you're wondering, this creature has been spotted in The Netherlands, which is also the country that shows up on the number plates of the vehicle.
