Hello dear readers, and welcome to today’s best fail video. We all know that Britain long ago did away with the nasty barriers that have been replaced in many places by bollards that rise up from under the ground to stop cars from getting through.
For some reason, people seem to believe they can trick the system and get through before the bollard is completely up with deserters results.

This CCTV footage shows what happened when a lorry truck driver though he could outsmart the bollard system. Two vans ahead of him got through just fine because they has a special beeper at the front. Just as the bollard rises, the truck driver takes his changes but slams in at 30 miles per hour.

The vehicle is filled with heavy brick, making the impact that much more severe. The driver isn’t even wearing a seatbelt but thankfully he’s OK in the end. Shmee150, who got this video from a friend, says that if the truck had been going slower, a sensor would have stopped the bollard in time.

In case you were wondering, the device was installed because this property is filled with expensive goodies, such as racing cars and a helicopter.
