We feel like every time we talk about a new FAB Design project, there's a sense of excitement and anticipation. To explain why that is, we point your attention to the McLaren 650S Spider they created just in time for the Geneva Motor Show.
Mind you, the tuned 650S is in the company of a 1000 hp P1 track car and the 675LT, but it doesn't feel overwhelmed. That's because power has been boosted by 32 hp compared to the usual 650, thanks to new stainless steel aluminum exhaust setup with twin tips that look like trumpets.
But what really strikes us about the Vayu RRP Sider is the widebody look. A McLaren 650S is far from being subtle in stock form, but wider wheel arches make it look like a well endowed woman wearing a shirt that's two sizes two small. Just ask the girls at the Geneva Motor Show 2015!
The British supercar has also received larger air intakes, side skirts, a front spoiler and a new wing. This last feature has a very distinctive split design and is worth every penny, especially when you consider that the car already had one wing. That's probably the reason why the FAB Vayu RPR program is nicknamed "God of Wing" on the official website.
Riding on extra-wide 20-inch Evolution alloy wheels, the Vayu 650S grips the road using Dunlop tires in sizes 275/25ZR20 in front and 325/30ZR20 for the back.
Interior changes were rather limited because FAB wanted a restrained look to match the matte gray paint. So they just added a bit of carbon fiber and covered everything, including the dash, in dark leather with yellow stitching. Simple but affective.
