We live in an era when new-born companies announce supercars as if they were mere LEGO cars, with most of them obviously remaining at this stage. However, we are here to talk about a project that seems to be totally different.
We are talking about Faralli & Mazzanti’s (F&M) Evantra, a supercar with looks that redefine the world “bewildering” , with the styling cues being handcrafted in aluminum of built from composite materials. And this is not all: if you go for the aluminum body, you can have the body customized.
At the center of the car, we find a 3.5-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that comes in two forms. A naturally-aspirated one that delivers 403 hp or a twin-turbo one that produces 603 hp.
The latter manages to push the 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs) of the car past the 62 mph (100 km/h) mark in 3.7 seconds. The first unit of the car is expected to be offered to its owner in mid-2012, with the overall production being limited to five units.
