Since we know you love driving, which means you’re not among those folks that spend half of the day sitting in the hotel watching TV while traveling, we found something better. You might not have the same room, but you sure won’t miss any of the local attractions the country you're visiting has to offer.
Imagine this: you're finally getting that long awaited three-week holiday this summer. And since the year has just started you’re planning the trip in advance. Sure, we’re talking about 21 days off work, that’s almost like you’d be unemployed, but still go with the flow for a second here.

So, you have all that time to visit something you always wished for, but you’re probably not going to afford paying for several hotels along the trip, gas and so on. What if we we're to tell you there’s actually a real life hotel on wheels you could use. Dubbed Exploranter Overland Hotel, the unique wheeled facility will offer you everything from quality kitchen, hot showers to 30 leathers seats and 28 beds to choose from. The expeditions are currently organized through Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

Trips range from one week routes to 22 day expeditions, depending one what plans you’re having and, of course, on the cash you’re willing to spend for this trip. What’s the catch, what’s the catch? Well, first of all there’s no place for claustrophobic travelers, nor for the introvert people who prefer spending their time by themselves.

Those who have thought about this odd accommodation service believe that tourists should connect with their fellow travelers through shared experiences on their journeys. However, guests won’t spend all the day on board, since the Exploranter has stops planned along the trip, so folks can stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air. When stopped, the truck’s side panels deploy a massive canopy and outdoor kitchen and... a living room.

As far as we can tell, there are currently only private rentals of the entire “hotel”, which means you’re going to have to get 30 of your friends and plan something big, but the best thing you could do is simply contact the people and ask for more details.

We’d sure go for it for a crazy team building of some sort. One day, one day...
