Exotic Racing Series Pack for NFS Shift Released

Game developer EA Games announced today the release of the Exotic Racing Series pack for the latest installment of the Need for Speed series, Shift. To be released on March 18, the pack will give gamers access to seven new cars: Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, BMW M1 Procar, GUMPERT apollo, Honda NSX, McLaren MP4-12C, Maserati GranTurismo and Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss.

To put the new cars through their paces, 50 new events have been added, including time challenges, endurance and sprint races. A new track, the Riviera, comes with four unique layouts, each with corners, multiple straight-aways and a few hairpins designed to test both gamer and car.

For those who compete the package will receive an additional 125 Microsoft gamerpoints or 5 PlayStation Trophies.

The Exotic Racing Series pack will be available worldwide on PlayStation 3 for $10.00 or the Xbox 360 for $10.00 or 800 Microsoft Points.

The Shift, the highest rated NFS game in years, features a new first-person crash dynamic, as well as a signature cockpit view for a better experience. It received a 10 score from GameSpy, while the PlayStation Official Magazine gave it a 90+ score.
