While it may not seem like much, as currently it’s all just a bunch of 3D models and renderings, the TM Concept 30, a car based on the BMW E30 3-Series shows what BMW design could look like if their cars weren’t built by a bunch of conformists - don’t deny it, all current BMWs look rather bland, and we say even cars from the Chris Bangle era were more interesting.
TMCars Design has done an amazing job of keeping the classic E30 shape, while not making the modern touches look out of place. It is also undeniably a BMW and a very impressive-looking one at that, with its very pronounced ‘shark nose’ and modern front and rear LED lights.

The company says that the mod can be applied to any E30 and it consists of a twelve-piece kit which is perfectly road-legal in Europe. We hope the company takes this to the next level and builds an actual car, because once they have gotten past that hurdle, we say their efforts will pay off.

It is a genuine nod to the old car and something we would genuinely like to drive and own.
