Which one of VW’s new trio of city cars would you buy? The Seat Mii, the VW-badged Up! or the cheaper Skoda Citigo? Well the latter is backed up by a very clever ad campaign, currently unmatched by the other two.
Skoda are also using American singer Anastacia to further boost the image of their Citigo - we say it’s working. While we’re not the kind of people who easily fall into traps set by ad men, we must admit we’ve been convinced that the Citigo is a great communication tool alternative for transporting yourself around crowded cities.
After testing the VW Up! on which it’s based and liking it, we realized that of the three, the best one was the one which made the most financial sense so the Skoda, being the cheapest, would have to be our pick. This had nothing to do with their ad campaign. Or did it?
