Ex-Stig Ben Collins Inviting You to a Ride in a Wildcat 500

Top Gear’s Ex-Stig Ben Collins is inviting you to be his passenger in a Wildcat 500, with the adventure set to take place at this year’s Rallyday, at Castle Combe in Wiltshire on Saturday 17 September.

Not only will you be flooded with adrenaline, but you will also lend a hand to the Race2Recovery campaign, which aims to raise funds for wounded and disabled British servicemen.

And there’s more: those who support Race2Recovery will also get to ride shotgun in a works Ford Fiesta WRC, which is built in the UK by M-Sport and in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X R4, which is also developed in the UK by the company created from the ex-works Mitsubishi World Rally Team, MML Sports.

The Lancer will be manhandled by former works Mitsubishi driver, Harri Rovanpera, while the driver of the Fiesta hasn’t been announced yet.

In order to catch a ride with Collins in the Wildcat, you must pre-book it by emailing Race2Recovery Team Manager Andrew Taylor, while there will also be other four Wildcats with rides in these ones to be booked on the day.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the R2R Team in action again at Rallyday at Castle Combe - the last time I saw them was on BBC's Top Gear program and we were driving down a cliff face, so it should be exciting to see what the Team come up with this time out,” Collins said.
