The new found wealth of the Chinese people might soon be going to waste, especially if they continue to spend their money on frivolous things. BMW is currently one of the most sought after brands in the communist country.
However, not everyone can afford a Bimmer. That's where tuning shops come into play. Recently more and more shops are offering some weird services like turning any car you'd like into a BMW.
It's also the case of this MG6 that was spotted on the streets of China. It's front fascia was completely changed and BMW's kidney grilles, 5 Series headlights and bumper took its place.
Actually, the job was pretty well done, and if you look at the car from the front you might have some trouble making out the differences. At the back though, it's a completely different story. Excepting the roundel and the '530Li' badge, not much could be done.
We can understand the burning desire to have a BMW but this is definitely not the way. The MG6 is roughly 5 times cheaper than the 5 Series but no chop shop tuning will turn it into the real thing and you'll just end up spending your hard-earned money on something pathetic and stupid.
