Ever Heard of the Fornasari RR600?

The world has no shortage of people who think to themselves “I know better than VW Group.” We know about most of these people, but sometimes we find a car that’s never surfaced on autoevolution before.
This is called the Fornasari RR600, and it comes from a company in Italy that likes to make strange SUVs with American engines. The chassis of the two-door recreational vehicle is mad from tubing, and the engine comes from the Chevrolet - a 6.0-liter V8 that’s supposed to have 610 hp and staggering 552 lb-ft (748 Nm) of torque. This is sent to the wheels via a Hydra-matic 4-speed automatic or Borg Warner 6-speed manual transmission

The strange styling is also striking American in nature, like the ugly offspring of a MINI Countryman and an old Corvette bits from the C2 and C5. It’s seriously ugly... or is that only our eyes? And the name sounds like a nasal illness as well.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
