Los Angeles’ EV upstart Coda has delayed the launch of their compact sedan for so many years that it’s already looking ancient. But the wait may finally be over, as The Detroit News reports it will start selling the sedan in question this month.
Of course, distribution will be a hurdle, but Coda says they have five dealers, one in San Diego, another in San Francisco, and three more that have not been disclosed. But by the end of the year, they hope to have a total of 40 in 25 cities.

The Coda sedan, an electric vehicle which uses some Chinese-made parts, like the chassis, is a five-passenger EV based on a former Mitsubishi model sold in Asia. It comes powered by an all-electric drive system which includes a 33.8 kWh Lithium-ion battery. The pack gives the car a range of 120 miles (193 km).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
