It seems metal engraving is not unique to one company. Probably because we praised Kuhl Racing's excellent GT-R twins to no end, another Japanese company called Corazon has decided to bring outs project to the SEMA Show, and it's a Subie.
Perhaps it's not an all-new STI, but the 2016 model is still an excellent starting point for such a tuning project. It's fast, it's low, and it gets respect everywhere.
But if you though Hyperblue was the best color ever, you need to check again. This custom-made STI is pure sterling silver (not literally). What's more, nobody is ever going to say you've got the same color as the Ford Focus RS.
Corazon makes the body kit, which consists of large fender flares, a deep chin spoiler, revisions or the front bumper, side skirts and rear diffuser. Then the crazy work starts because you can also add a titanium exhaust system and a swan-neck wing. It does not fit a sedan, but who cares; this stuff is popular in Japan.
On this particular project, Corazon also collaborated with ACE Flowform, who shoed the STI in blue alloys with an overlip design and drift car spoke design. That's a strange combination if ever we saw one.
The metal engraving pattern is the same as on the GT-R twins and the Toyota GT 86 we already saw. So we have a sneaking suspicion that Artis Japan was employed. Their skills with the Dremel tool ar top notch, and it's left the super-hot Impreza looking like a gun from the Wild West.
Considering the steering wheel is clearly on the wrong side, this has to be a JDM STI. What's the difference? Only that it's got a brand new 2.0-liter boxer engine instead of the 2.5-liter we get in America. Sure, it's covered in leaf motifs, but under that custom hood is something we won't get for another couple of years. So pop your hood JDM bro'!
