Present for the 6th time at the EICMA show in Milan, Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica is prepping up to unveil a new concept bike along with new liveries and accessories next month.
In tone with the EICMA 2016 slogan “Bikes never seen”, Energica announced it will unveil a new concept of electric motorcycle that is an evolution of design and technologies already found on its models.

I guess it’s safe to say the new concept bike will be based on the Ego flagship model, which develops 100 kW (136 hp) and 196 Nm (145 lb-ft) of torque from a standstill. This enables the motorcycle to sprint from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3 seconds and keep on until it reaches 150 mph (241 km/h).

Pair that power with more electronic gizmos and utility features, a new design, and you get something that will approach the most recent motorcycle market trends.

But that’s not all, as Energica Motor has more news for the show. The company said to unveil a new color - Lunar White - for the Ego sportbike and Eva streetfighter. Moreover, there are new OZ wheels that will be launched for the first time and tested on an Energica motorcycle.

The company’s new Value Plan commercial strategy will also be detailed at the EICMA show from November 10th through 13th. If you missed that, the plan is split into two parts. First, Energica will collaborate with several utility companies (Italy and the U.S. at first) to create a network of fast-chargers for riders to enjoy scenic routes without any range anxiety.

Secondly, the company is planing to bring more value to its products by guaranteeing a minimum 50% buyback value after 24 months. This means you can go back to the dealership with your two-year-old Energica bike and either get back at least 50% of its initial value for a trade in, or get a super-warranty for the battery for 100.000 km (62,140 miles) or 5 years.
