Ellie Goulding Took a Ride with Mark Hoppus' New Tesla Model S

What is being an artist if not having a bit of joy every once in a while and stop working for a second? British singer Ellie Goulding might be busy recording new gigs but it was lay-back-time a couple of days ago, when she hang out along friend and famous bassist Mark Hoppus while cruising the artist’s brand new Tesla Model S.

In case you missed Ellie you’ve probably heard about the 27-year old singer’s new Outside hit she made recently, teaming up with producer/DJ Calvin Harris. Fans are eagerly waiting for Harris’ new album called Motion, which is due out November 4th and will feature big stars such as Gwen Stefani, Big Sean, Tinashe, John Newman and HAIM. It’s the Brit’s first album since 2012’s 18 Months and Goulding has also worked with him for a couple of songs.

As to the blond pop star, figures speak of themselves. At the 2014 BRIT Awards she received the award for Best British Female and by the end of last year, she has sold an estimated 4 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. Not bad for a 27-year old singer, right?

Plans for a Tesla Model S?

But you’re not really a cool celebrity if you’re not seen with one of Elon Musk’s famous EVs. Goulding was all smiles the other day while driving in the passenger seat of Mark Hoppus’ new Tesla Model S. She took a funny selfie with Blink-182’s bassist and post it on her Instagram stating it’s a sweet ride. Of course it's a sweet ride.

Now, about Hoppus’ new EV. We did already tell you about it, but seeing Goulding with him makes us wonder two things. Firstly, are Ellie and Mark working on some sort of new collaboration, maybe even a new album? And secondly, is the British beauty thinking of buying a Tesla Model S for herself?

As always, we'll keep you up to date.
