Not every yacht worth mentioning is a superyacht. After all, most of the time, we never get to see a superyacht concept upon real waters. But this following terror of the sea is as real as you and me.
Folks, welcome to the land of real toys that show us how lucky some have been to pull the long straw at birth. What you see in the photos and gallery is known as Vellmari. It’s a yacht completed by one of the most prestigious boatyards in the world, Italy's Rossinavi.

Yes, the same Rossinavi you’ve seen around these waters before. But why do they keep popping up? Well, just look at what these folks are capable of putting together! Of course, we’re here to bring you the best around, so here’s a slice of life.

For the design stages of this predator, more than one team was involved in this venture. The first is Arrabito Naval Architecture, which made sure that the yacht being built was as close as possible to the imagined yacht as possible, while that sleek exterior and lush interior was brought forth by Team for Design, led by Enrico Gobbi.

As for this cool, calm, and collected vessel, wow! I urge you again to have a nice long look at the gallery and really get a feel for this ship’s design and level of luxury. All good? Leave your comments below, and always remember to play nice.

As for myself, I'm here to... I actually don’t know why I'm here, so I guess I'll just have to give myself a purpose, like everyone else on planet Earth. Today my purpose shall be to walk you through this marvelous vessel and a few of its main discerning features.

The first one on the list is this vessel’s size. The photos may give the wrong impression, but from bow to aft, this critter comes in with a length of only 155 ft and 10 in (47.5 m). However, as small as it is, we can clearly see that all the extra cash was spent on design, furnishings, and a generally lavish environment.

The exterior, with its long shark-like appearance gives this vessel not only a mean and aggressive look, but also room to throw in a few little extras here and there. The main feature here is those missing slices from the hull. Aside from looking like a pair of gills, these are windows for the owner's suite.

The rest of the hull seems to run uninterrupted toward the rear, with a very low-rise superstructure, keeping everything looking tight and sharp. Yet, looks can be deceiving. This is proven by the massive spaces and perks found inside.

I’m not going to point out any other sleeping quarters as the owner’s loft is always the point of interest, but I am going to point out the large outdoor dining found aft on the main deck. From here, we begin our journey inside by stepping into a lounge area equipped with a bar. Behind that, an indoor dining set, which can also be seen in the gallery, while towards the bow, one can find the owner’s suite I mentioned earlier.

The next deck up includes another outdoor lounge aft and a beautifully positioned circular jacuzzi that offers a wonderful view aft or towards the interior. Inside on this deck, everyone is just basically getting drunk as another bar and lounge are available, plus some room to mingle. Towards the bow, we’re shown another area meant for helping you achieve your tan.

Other than that, the photos will do this vessel more justice than I ever could with words, so do check it out. Or, if you like getting your info from the source, which is always wise to do, click here and check out how Rossinavi shows off the Vellmari.
