Wondering what other car atrocities are built in China? How about an all-electric Rolls-Royce Phantom I copy that looks to be made out of a Scion xB by a company that usually builds horse carriages? Still not entertained?
As CarNewsChina reports, this is the work of Henan Ou Huang Carriage Manufacturing Company based in the city of Dongguan in Guangzhou Province. As we said, the company usually builds classic horse carriages copied after British ones, but now they seem to have also attempted to go a bit more modern by building something that want’s to be the first generation RR Phantom.

Although it’s a great thing they decided to build an all-electric retro-styled vehicle, I don’t even know where to start with how many things they got wrong. Looking at the car straight from the front, it could trick you it’s something spectacular because of that RR grille, but then you move a bit around it and discover the horror.

The whole car appears to have been made out of a Scion xB, which they cut and added a long, flat, ugly hood, a classic trunk that appears to have no lid, silver spray-can painted steel wheels, industrial grade scuff plates and the ugliest looking bumpers ever made.

Things get interesting at the interior also, where fake wood adorns the button-less dashboard, beige seats complemented by red upholstery, a gray carpet and a three-spoked fake-wood steering wheel sticking out almost from the median section of the car.

But probably the most bizarre thing is the fact I can’t see no pedals, levers or any other button that would make the car go and stop eventually. Could the car still be a work in progress, or did the Chinese found the way to telepathically control a car?
