Here's a piece of very good news for the electric bike enthusiasts: e-bike racing programs are springing up now here and there, as a very good proof that the green machines are truly becoming popular.
Today it's the case of a South California Zero dealer Hollywood Electrics, teaming up with M1GP and hosting a 10-round racing event which is open to pretty much anyone. What's really great about this type of racing is the fact that the entrance fee is really affordable: $120 for a full season membership (€90) and even more, if you turn out to be a good racer, you get refunded after 4 events. Even more, getting podium finishes means store credit: $500, $250 and $100 for the first three positions (€373, €186 and €75).

Charging is available on site and the races are held at the Willow Springs International Motorsports Park, Horse Thief Mile and possibly more. With under 10 miles length and practice sessions available, even the riders who are new to the circuit life can really make it big, or at least try their best shot at glory.
