Eggasus: Egg-Shaped EV Pod

You may have noticed that city folk drive cars which are too big for their purpose, as the driver usually isn’t accompanied by anybody else, thus wasting space on the road, fuel as well as money.
The Eggasus will rid you of all the unwanted seats, leaving you with just the one, as it is an extremely compact vehicle, with 12 such vehicles fitting within the confines of one regular-sized parking space. It is, as its name suggests, an egg-shaped three-wheeler EV pod which is ideal for pottering about busy city centers. It has a range of up to 80 km (50 miles) and has a top speed of 40 km/h (25 mph), so its OK for the purpose it was built for, and no more.

If you are interested in acquiring one, expect to pay somewhere in the region of $5,000 (€3,900), if it enters production, that is. We say it should, as we need more vehicles like this to relieve the congestion and air quality problems that face the largest of our cities.
