EDO Competition Porsche Carrera GT With Straight Pipes

The Carrera GT is definitely the best and most technologically advanced car ever built by Porsche. Being so new and fresh in its conception that they decided not to use the classic flat-six with a turbocharger, and opted instead for a 5.7-liter V10 engine, which is arguably one of the best sounding engines of its kind, along with that of the old BMW M5 E60.
However, the racecar-like noise coming from the back of the Carrera GT can be turned up, even past eleven, with the use of a straight pipe kit. In this particular case, the modifications aren’t limited to a simple exhaust mod, as this car on Russian plates (which we showed you in an earlier video) features a comprehensive list of mods.

As part of the EDO Competition ‘Stage 3’ pack, the Carrera GT gets a huge rear wing, engine power boost to 770 hp, stiffer suspension as well as high-performance brakes, to stop the car from its new top speed of 365 km/h (227 mph).
