Producing 624 horsepower at the flywheel and a hefty 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of tire-shredding torque, Edelbrock's all-new E-Force Supercharger kit might level up the standard C7 Corvette Stingray to be a serious rival for the upcoming 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
The specialty aftermarket performance parts manufacturer headquartered in California says this new power upgrade is a hassle-free bolt-on job that fits under the stock hood with no modifications. Further more, the supercharger doesn't sacrifice runner length or the intercooler area.

Featuring the same high quality Eaton TVS Rotor assembly used by General Motors on the ballistic Corvette ZR1, this upgrade is the next best thing for owners of the C7 Stingray that can't afford the high sticker price of the upcoming 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Speaking of which, the all-new Z06 is expected to deliver an estimated 625 horsepower and 635 lb-ft (861 Nm), translating in a very minor power advantage over the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharged C7 Corvette.

Even though the price of the kit hasn't been announced by Edelbrock as of yet, we estimate that the whole package shouldn't surpass the $7,899 mark. Designed, cast and made in the U.S., the E-Force Supercharger complies with the carbon emissions standards of all 50 states that make up the United States of America.

Finally, the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger system isn't just a performance upgrade for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, but also enhances the looks of what's under the bonnet of America's favorite sports car. Take a look at the video and photo gallery below if you're having doubts about its credentials.
