Either way, you should know that there’s more about the new series than you have already found out, such as the fact Ed Sheeran will be starring in the first episode.
Yes, the 22nd season of the world’s most watched car TV show will start this Sunday, so the Top Gear marketing team thought they should release yet another tease. We don’t know about you guys, but sometimes it feels like these people are not that certain anymore on the show’s feedback.
And we’re saying this because we’re pretty sure what makes people watch Top Gear is seeing how the new Huracan or the McLaren P1 act on the street, and less for celebrities that star in reasonably priced cars. Either way, Ed Sheeran is quite popular in the UK, in the whole world for that matter, so the auto TV show just released a couple of behind-the-scene pictures.
The two time Brit Awards winner is seen attempting to memorize the Stig’s driving mantras. Then, the new episode has some crashing, some very blue shoes and a great deal of bickering to make things special. Add up the right amount of spices and it should turn out as you'd expected it to be.
As we said, Top Gear Series 22 kicks off at 8pm on BBC Two in the UK, and simultaneously in more than 50 other countries so stay put.
