Ecclestone to Boycott Autobiographical Book in London

Everything that is connected to Bernie Ecclestone these days – well, it's been like that since forever, we'd argue – seems to have the word “controversial” written all over it. And since we're talking about his autobiographical book, due to be launched in London later today, things could not go down any differently.

According to a recent report from UK's The Daily Telegraph, it seems the F1 supremo is boycotting his very autobiographical book, called “No Angel”, due to the fact that author Tom Bower “broke promises” about not including certain details of his family life in the otherwise authorized book.

One such example is the inclusion of his ex-wife Slavica (formerly known as Slavica Radic, an international fashion model) in the book and the way the two met. According to the author, when Slavica entered the frame, Ecclestone was already involved in a relationship with 17-year old adolescent Tuana Tan.

I was more than supportive of him. Therefore I was more than a little disappointed with him when he included in the book matters concerning my family, which he agreed he would not,” said Ecclestone, according to the Daily Mail. “Although I have not read it, I am sure it will be a good book,” he added.

A description of the book on Amazon reads that Ecclestone is “private, mysterious and some say sinister.” Additionally, the F1 supremo reportedly calls book author Bowyer The Undertaker due to “his tendency to bury reputations,” as reported by the GMM news agency. An interesting dialog between the two should give us a glimpse into the relationship between them.

I'll accept your facilities, but if I find evidence of wrongdoing or hear any criticism, it will all be published,” Bower reportedly said to the F1 exec, while replied “Tom, I'm no angel.”
