Ecclestone: Schumacher Will Teach Some Lessons at Valencia

As every Formula One fan is counting the days to the official start of the European Grand Prix at Valencia, Bernie Ecclestone seems even more anxious to see the 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher at play. And it's not solely because he'll raise a great deal of interest around Formula One, but because he'll once again showcase his immense racing talent.

As far as the current F1 field is concerned, Ecclestone is sure about one thing only: every single driver in the 2009 roster will be taught some lessons at Valencia. It will be inevitable, despite the fact that Schumacher will race on the streets of the Spanish circuit for the first time in career.

I think Michael is going to give a lesson or two for driving their rivals when he returns to action in Spain,” said Ecclestone, according to the Spanish newspaper Diario AS.

Obviously Michael has decided to return because he feels he is ready and waiting to make a great performance. Schumacher has always been the case of competitive,” added the Formula One supremo, who made no secret from the fact that he wants to see The Kaiser on the Valencia podium three weekends from now.

In addition, Ecclestone also dismissed a potential “boring drive” from Schumacher, as he reckoned the German champion was always exciting to watch, even when he won consecutive titles for Ferrari.

He has always been very popular despite having won many races and have been described as boring. Has never been nor will he be now,” concluded the 78-year old Brit.
