Just to talk about Formula One related business, Ecclestone once again reiterated his positive comments towards FIA's president Max Mosley. The 78-year old Brit believes his FIA counterpart would make a great British Prime Minister, despite the controversial sex-gate he was part of in recent years.
In addition, Ecclestone insisted that Mosley's "dictator" allegations should not be regarded as a negative trait, as long as the president of the international body is making the right decisions.
"I like people who make up their minds. If you have to keep referring to your grandmother before you do anything I think that's dumb. I make decisions, sometimes wrong, sometimes right - so long as you get more things right than wrong then that's ok," said Ecclestone.
Leaving the F1 talk aside, the sport's boss revealed he isn't that supportive of democracy, as it "hasn't done a lot of good for many countries." As for Adolf Hitler... well, Ecclestone seems to have joined the German despot's fanbase recently.
"Terrible to say this I suppose, but apart from the fact that Hitler got taken away and persuaded to do things that I have no idea whether he wanted to do or not, he was in the way that he could command a lot of people able to get things done," concluded Ecclestone.
In addition, he revealed he is not very supportive of his country's stand in the War Against Terror behind the US, as he believes Saddam Hussein "was the only one who could control that country."
