Last weekend, at the New Coalinga Municipal Airport, in Fresno California, the Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack took place and the guys from European Auto Source couldn’t miss it. Therefore, they took their supercharged M3 and Z4 M and went for the win.
The event spread over 2 days and consisted of ½ mile side-by-side racing and trap speed competition on the runway. In the mix of incredibly powerful cars you could spot several supercharged M3s, tuned AMGs, 1500whp Gallardos, 1300whp Ford GTs, 1000+whp GT-Rs, Ferrari F430s, an Aventador and many, many more modified cars.
The showstopper, however, was a black Underground Racing twin-turbo Gallardo that managed to reach a top speed of 224 mph (358 km/h). Other cars weren’t faded at all though and the event ended with a drag race between a food truck, fire engine, tow truck and an RV pulling a 3-car trailer.
