In order to get the perfect mix of German engineering and American muscle, the owner of the E92 M3 we're looking at today, took some drastic measures.
Being a BMW fan and an American at the same time, he wanted to have the best of both worlds. Thinking the 4-liter V8 wasn't enough, an RD Sport 4.6-liter Stroker was somehow added to the mix. However, the increased engine capacity translates into an increase in exhaust fumes and an Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system was necessary.
After installing the two, the car was hardly recognizable without looking at it. The sound is a perfect mix of low, growly American muscle notes with high revving European performance cars'.
Further upgrades include a Brembo Big Brake kit (for additional stopping power), RD Sport carbon fibre intake, RPI ram air scoops, Dinan Stage 1 suspension and camber plates, RD Sport Sway Bars, AFE air filter, Vorsteiner aero carbon fibre rear diffuser and, of course, an ECU Tune.
