The recently launched AMG S-Model versions for the W212 E-Class AMG facelift have transformed an already fast “hammer” into a regular “sledgehammer”.
With no less than 585 hp and 800 Nm (590 lb ft) of torque and 4-Matic all-wheel drive, the flagship model of the E 63 AMG range can slingshot from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds, which is faster than quite a lot of early 2000 supercars.
Although any sane person would find those figures are more than enough for just about any kind of situation an E63 AMG driver would find himself in (on or off the drag strip), the German tuning specialists from Wheelsandmore decided they could make the S-Model even more special.
Their latest project, humorously called “Seven-11”, takes an already fast as lightning Mercedes-Benz E63 S-AMG and turns it up to 11. The car's 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 receives a completely new exhaust system with flap-controlled sports muffles and a modified engine control software unit.
The result is 700 hp and an Earth-moving 1100 Nm (811.3 lb ft) of torque, enough to launch the car into orbit. Since the package comes from some guys called Wheelsandmore, it's obviously complemented with a set of black 6Sporz forged wheels – a perfect addition to the yellow calipers of the optional ceramic brakes on the E63 AMG S-Model. The small cherry on the cake is represented by a subtle 30 mm lowering kit.
