Now, before any purists starts throwing rotten tomatoes at the screen , I have to mention that we're not aware of how this E36 BMW M3 lost its straight-six in favor of a V8. Who knows, perhaps the original unit was already gone before the whole Coyote swap story begun.
Nevertheless, the heart transplat we have here, which sees the 90s M3 being gifted with the engine from a Mustang GT, ups the ante on all fronts.

The only drawback of the engine might have to do with the weight distribution, but the owner doesn't seem to mind this. After all, it looks like the aficionado connecting the steering wheel to the pedals of this Bimmer set out to achieve a complete transformation.

So, going past the tech side of the customization, I also have to point out that the Bavarian coupe comes with a widebody approach. and this isn't any widebody, since we're talking about a Pandem kit.

You know, the sister brand of the famous Rocket Bunny - both are built by a Japanese developer called Tra Kyoto, with this being run by Kei Miura.

I've saved one of the most noticeable effects of the said swap for last, namely the soundtrack. Probably with the help of a custom exhaust, this M3 now has an unforgettable voice, as you'll be able to notice in the brief piece of footage below.

For the record, one man's... undesired engine is another's one's treasure: earlier today, we talked about a C3 Chevrolet Corvette that had been fitted with an E36 M3 straight-six.

Once again, there can be no preconceptions here - the 'Vette was rescued and since it came with an empty engine compartment, the crew who got it decided to use the said straight-six that had been sitting around its garage. And even though the US-spec E36 M3 isn't as potent as its Euro counterpart, the resulting Le Mons racecar looks like a blast.
