OK, so you’ve gotten your hands on an E30 Cabriolet. Everything is fine and dandy, but you can’t really ignore the desire for a stiffer body. Well, before you go into the autocross-type mods, you should check out the monstrosity in the adjacent image. For the fun of it, of course.
All the rigidity in the world arrives easily thanks to the the new underbody works. We’ve got a solid axle setup here, so it’s as sturdy as it gets. As for the traction, this seems to be provided by tractor wheels.
What’s more, the thing is gifted with various offroading accessories, ranging from extra protection up front to a winch. Of course, such a transformation also requires some rollover protection in the upper part of the body, but we don’t see too many signs of this. Better watch out for those steep sections then...
