Even though that the rather extensive mid-cycle facelift for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class family has somewhat settled in, more and more media outlets are jumping at the chance to test drive various E-Class models, especially since there are no less than four of them at the moment (sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible, ed).
The Mercedes-Benz E 350 Coupe (C207) is the least expensive E-Class Coupe you can currently buy in the United States, but if you're adding the 4Matic all-wheel drive option that is obviously no longer true.
Powered by a 3.5-liter, naturally-aspirated, V6 that outputs 306 hp (302 bhp) and 370 Nm (273 lb ft) of torque, the E 350 Coupe in 4Matic guise isn't exactly a slouch, while the all-wheel drive system also gives it all-year performance.
The folks from Car and Driver recently had a go in such a model, and their review is filled with mostly good words about the car.
Most of the praise was obviously connected with the E-Class Coupe's style and elegance, but its punchy V6 and interior comfort weren't bad either. There are some downsides to it, naturally, but you will have to read their review for the full monty.
