Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is busy these days with two things: the Fast & Furious franchise and FoMoCo. And as anyone would expect from the Blue Oval’s ambassador of service, the 44-year-old actor would like to remind you that no one in this world can service your Ford better than Ford.
Titled “Ford Service: Keeping Your Ford on the Road,” the new ad campaign follows up on Ford Service’s effort from October 2015. From the 1-minute 10-second commercial, we learn that there are more than 47 million Ford vehicles on the road today. “Why’s that,” The Rock asks the viewer.

The answer comes immediately after and it’s unsurprising. According to Dwayne Johnson, “it’s because of the people working hard to keep them there.” Now wait a minute. Has anyone seen a 1973 Ford F-100 in a Ford service as of late? What about a 1983 Ford Ranger? In layman’s terms, old Fords are kept on the road by their owners, who dirty their own hands or service their cars at a local garage.

But if you own a modern Ford vehicle, the truth of the matter is that Ford knows how to keep it running a lot better than anyone else. On that note, approximately 35,000 hardworking men and women are committed to maintaining Ford and Lincoln vehicles in tip-top shape.

“I'm very excited about what we're building with the good people of Ford,” said Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson about his relation with Ford. “Our new campaign is a special one and, considering Ford is one of the founding companies that helped build this country, I’m proud of the work our service people are accomplishing here as we continue to elevate the game,” concluded the American-born actor.

On an ending note, warrantied car repair horror stories are real and, from my humble point of view, any automaker out there should do something about them. After all, the credibility of any automaker greatly depends on the quality of the service department.
