Ducati is taking fast steps ahead of the 2016 riding season and is not willing to wait too much until customers are able to see the all-new XDiavel muscle bike in the flesh. Borgo Panigale delivered the first complete, ready-to-roll XDiavel on December 10 from their local assembly plant.
As it happens each time when a new model rolls off the assembly line, Ducati's CEO Claudio Domenicali was there to welcome the new bike into the real world.

We knew Ducati wouldn't be delaying this model too much, and we were, in fact, expecting this news. We had an exclusive interview with the XDiavel product manager Stefano Tarabusi, and he told us that Ducati would be making fast progress with this muscle bike.

The XDiavel is largely derived from the base-model Diavel, but Ducati went a long way to making it. The XDiavel is one of the most technologically advanced cruisers on the market, surpassing each and every similar bike by a long shot.

Ducati's top technologies integrated into this spectacular machine

At the heart of the XDiavel sits Ducati's variable valve timing engine, and thanks to its design, the Italian manufacturer was able to transform its character to make it more suitable for cruising.

The peak torque is reached already at 5,000 rpm, with plenty to spare for any type of riding. The multiple adjustments cover for no less than 60 possible setups, accommodating the needs of all riders while retaining 40 degrees of lean angle for the more aggressive type of motorcyclists.

Both the XDiavel and XDiavel S models will be available as of February, first in Italy and the rest of European countries. North America will receive the bikes a couple of months later (or so). We saw the XDiavel live and we can confirm that the bike certainly looks like a 21st century, modern powercruiser.
