Judging by these photos, it's obvious that we'll see the new Ducati Monster early next month at Milan, Italy during the 2013 EICMA.
Secretive as they sometimes are, Ducati has kept the new machine well hidden from curious eyes, and the only detail we can be sure about is the dual right-side exhausts, not exactly a new feature for the Borgo Panigale naked beasts.

Another question found its answer as far as what mill will be powering the new bigger Monster. Seeing the Testastretta 11° engine cover makes everything clear as daylight: it's the power unit which causes heart attacks to unsuspecting riders aboard the Diavel for the first time, so we can only expect the "Monster 1200" to be just as wild.

The Diavel engine pumps out 162 hp and 94lb-ft (127.5Nm) of torque, and comes with ride by wire as standard. If Ducati retains the gearing and keeps the Monster withing the family's slim lines, we can only expect that new new machine will be crazier than any previous Monster.
