It may seem like Ducati is very confident in the new Desmosedici GP13 racing machine: they've surfaced a detailed spec sheet for the new bikes which will run in thew 2013 MotoGP series.
All 4 bikes will sport the same technical specs, as Ducati hopes that gathering data on the same bike from all 4 riders in the 2013 MotoGP will help development faster. The MotoGP bikes will be ridden by Andrea Dovisioso and Nicky Hayden, as the Team 1, while Pramac machines will have Ben Spies and rookie Andrea Iannone saddling up.

The Ducati GP13 are touted of being capable to produce at least 235 hp and reach speeds in excess of 330 km/h (205 mph), while the dry weight is 160 kg (353 lbs). The engine remains the unique V4, the double L-twin (90-degrees) with desmodromic DOHC valvetrain.

The aluminium twin-spar frame developed during the two Rossi years will hopefully become better and we might just get a chance to see Ducati coming back to the MotoGP podiums this year.
