The future of motorcycles lies in the hands of the designers as much as it lies in those of the engineers. We've gotten to see many bikes with exceptional design and performance specs not living up to that, and vice versa, so maybe it's time to bring the two together. Here's a new bike created by Italian designer Paolo Tesio, the Ducati-based S2-Braida.
Unlike other designers, Paolo is himself a rider and even more, he is into bike customization, and this means he has way more functional insight than the non-riding guys in the branch. In other words, his designs follow real-life function, ergonomics and feasibility.

The S2-Braida brings together the aggressive stance of the Ducati fighters and a lot of Buell character, with the rim-mounted front rotors being the most striking element.

Such a bike not only looks so sharp you could cut yourself in it, it is also buildable, since the concept seems to use the Ducati trellis frame loaded with an L-twin power plant. Paolo is no stranger to rebuilding rear subframes and he's a master of shaping molds for custom bodywork.

And knowing this for a fact makes the Ducati S2-Braida concept even more exhilarating, as we know that we might just happen to see it prowling the streets one day.
